June always seems like a rainy month, we've had at least four rain-outs this ball season. Ball is almost over so I'll have to make sure I get some pictures. Melissa is playing 12U softball and Jaime is playing coach pitch. This is Jaime's first year playing ball, she's played soccer for the last two years. She wasn't sure if she was going to like coach pitch but has realized it's pretty fun. They have a tournament on Saturday and one make-up game left.
Here is a picture of Jaime at one of Melissa's softball practices, doing what she loves best.
Amy is running around at the practice and having fun. She likes to sing while skipping and hopping.
Boo laying on some material I have drying.
I've been sewing 4th of July twirly skirts and have Amy's done. I'm also working on a doll quilt for a swap on Sewing Mama's and I'm behind on the Sew-a-long at Crazy Mom Quilts.

My friend Sarah posted about a refreshing drink she made awhile back. This is what I found in my glass. I think Amy washed her hands in the water right before dropping Velma into the glass. Doesn't that make you want to take a big sip!
I found this cute little tea pot at a church rummage sale this week.
I've been busy making Webkinz clothes and thought I'd post a picture of how I make the capes.
I cut a piece of ribbon and turned over the top an inch and stitch it down. I use fleece because I don't have to hem the edges. You can get as creative with trims as you want.
