It's a wonderful day in Kansas City for the first day of spring!I made this spring stitchery for a swap, the flower pattern is from a back issue of Create and Decorate. I knew I wanted to have a frame for the picture and didn't have a frame on hand, so I started thinking what to use to make one. One thing I love about making prims is you can use what you have, well in any crafting you can improvise but with prims since you want your items to look old, it's even better. I dragged in a tree branch and broke off branches the size I need to frame my piece. Than to decide how to attach it. I sewed a backing on the piece and sewed the branches to the material. Not exactly perfect but definitely the look I wanted.
