Everyday Ruralty

I'm linking up with Patrice at Everyday Ruralty.

Questions

1. When it comes to vegetables, which do you use most often--canned, frozen or fresh?
It depends on the season---but my preference is fresh-- if not on hand---  frozen and last canned.
2. Do you sew?
Yes-- I love to sew ---crafts, quilts, I don't sew a lot of clothes from start to finish, but like to take what I have and make it into something else.
3. Do you have a common fear? such as heights, spiders, snakes, small spaces, flying, etc?
I don't have a common fear--spiders don't make me run, I smoosh them if my 12 yr old isn't around. Snakes are okay unless I'm surround by them running amok. I don't fly often but after 9/11-- I flew from Chicago to Kansas City (I took the Mega Bus to Chicago) I felt a little edgy.
4. Is there anything you recommend for cutting the grocery bill?
Don't buy junk!
5. Tell me about something that made you happy over the past week.
My 7 year was so excited about going to Girl Scout camp and sleeping in a tent. Sleeping in my own bed the next night made me very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made quilts when my babies were little, but haven't really since then.

All of my plane flying was before 9/11, way back when pterodactyls were around. Well, it feels like it was that long ago. :)

I hope that your daughter has fun at scout camp.

Have a great week!

I'm with you on the tent camping. It's fun, but back home is sooo nice!

I like to sew things into new things too. Amazing what a treat your own bed can be when you sleep on something else!
