1.What kind of seafood have you tried and like? What is the most unique seafood you've eaten?
Shrimp is my favorite seafood! I don't like the taste of fish, my family loves it but I'm the one who doesn't. I think Calamari is the most unique seafood I've tried.

2. An unforgettable holiday moment is ___________________________. (vacation)
The last time we were in Colorado was about 11 years ago, just being in the mountains was pretty awesome. One of the fun memories was riding the ski lifts up and sliding down the alpine slide.

3.When was the last time you tried something new?
I'm usually always trying something new, if I see something I want to make but might be missing a needed item, I'll see what I have that I can use instead. I love prim projects so it's amazing the things you can make with what you have on hand. Cooking wise-- I'll try new recipes but always seem to change an ingredient.

4. Who or what inspires you?
Creative people, my children, ?-----there are a  lot of other things and people that inspire me, I just can't think of them now.

5. How did you choose the name of your children? (Short story version)
I have five girls and each time was a different way. The first was Elizabeth, I almost changed my mind and was going to go with Sunshine--because the sun was shining through the hospital room window and I was 16. Luckily i went with Elizabeth, my great grandmother also was a Elizabeth. I wanted to call her Betsy (rolling my eyes here) but she wasn't a Betsy. #2 was Kaitlyn, I saw that name in a story I read and fell in love with it. It was also very popular at the time but there was no budging. She did graduate with at least 3 other Kaitlyn's. # 3 is Melissa who was Kesley for a long time till I decided I was something else, we looked at every book, read movie credits, even looked at the headstones while we were at the cemetery. Kaitlyn came home and talked about a girl in her class and we decided that was the name for baby 3. I wanted Jo to be her middle name since that is mine, my husband said she'd sound like a hick and with all my hormones -- I said fine-- I was trying to find a name that would correlate with the season but pumpkin, and turkey weren't working so we went with Grace. Her 5 year sister at that time was voting for Pocahontas. #4 was Natalie until the final day for the birth certificate and instead we went with the female name of James--Jaime. #5 I had a list of girl names I liked a lot most were from names of friends in the 70's. I was reading off the names at the birth center while I was holding her and she made a noise at Amy, so we went with that and she is my Amy Jo. Obviously we never said our last two names together, so we have Jaime and Amy--they rhyme and that's what you get for letting your baby pick out her own name.

I enjoyed your responses. I've been down with a flu bug this week and it's driving me crazy. I love Easter and I have much to do, but this year will just have to be different so I can take care of myself. I hope you have a lovely Easter!
